Description

Colombia Sanchez is a noble, legendary, and exquisite coffee, very rare in the market.

Geisha, a variety of Arabica, is the most challenging coffee to grow.

Such high-class coffee is almost never found in stores. It's incredibly difficult to purchase because the main volumes, which are very small, are reserved for world coffee championships. Coffee companies queue up to get just a little bit of Geisha.

We're proud to have been able to purchase this coffee and highly recommend trying it.

Deiby Sanchez owns the Finca La Esperanza farm in the Huila region of Colombia. Deiby is like a mad scientist, whose life is spent experimenting with growing unique coffee.

Colombia Sanchez is not an everyday coffee. It has a very complex and sophisticated taste. With each sip, you feel many notes, and just as you think you've grasped a particularly strong one, it's already mingled with others. Drinking Geisha is like drinking flowers. It's a different reality. It feels as though your sense of smell and touch have suddenly become acutely sharp. It's probably how a person with impaired hearing would feel, suddenly gaining normal hearing at a concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra - overwhelmed, captivated, and stunned by every note. Definitely not an everyday experience.

A funny story.
Our friends made Geisha with an espresso machine and didn't like it much. We were outraged:

What? Geisha in a coffee machine? Might as well have thrown it away! How should you prepare Geisha?

You take a packet, open it, take out a single bean and set it aside. Then grind a portion of beans, inhale the incomparable aroma, unmatched by any other coffee. Close your eyes, inhale again and again...

After a few minutes of enjoyment, with visions of distant shores, swaying palms, and turquoise seas, possibly even a pirate ship, you take the single bean you set aside.

You carefully crack it with your teeth. Chew it, close your eyes again, but just for a few seconds. And then you quietly ask, "Geisha, how would you like me to prepare you? In a pour-over? French press? Maybe I should prepare a cezve for you?" And you definitely hear the answer. Then you prepare the coffee exactly as Geisha requests. And make sure to enjoy the aroma from the cup again before taking the first sip. And only then, when you can't hold back any longer, and not just your body but your soul is begging for a sip, you take it...
